First Replication Workshop is a success!

On the 8th of April, our first replication workshop took place, involving a delegation of representatives of small Polish municipalities – They were introduced to LocalRES’ planning tool. 

The delegation had made its way to Besançon on the occasion of Energy City’s Annual Forum and 35th anniversary celebration and then remained on site for a study tour focused on community energy and promotion of renewables. They made a field visit to the Frutière à Energie initiative, installed on the school of the nearby village of Chay. 

They were presented both planning tools developed within LocalRES: the citizen facing version [developed by Cartif] where they were shown how to produce power estimates on solar roofs, and the more technical version that is more granular on the details and destined to professionals [developed by Artelys].
