Karine Laffont-Eloire from DOWEL Innovation, participated in BRIDGE’s General Assembly on 25-26 of March in Brussels on behalf of LocalRES.
After a first day of insightful keynote speeches, policy updates and a presentation of the obstacles to moving from market to innovation, the second day was dedicated to the presentation of the activities carried out by the four Working Group in the past months. The GA also provided multiple opportunities to meet other EU funded projects, share lessons learnt and identify potential synergies.
LocalRES contributes to all four Working Groups (Regulation, Data Management, Citizens and Consumers Engagement and Business Models), and is particularly enmeshed in WG Regulation and WG Business Models where LocalRES (represented by DOWEL) leads two actions.
In WG Regulation, Ms Laffont-Eloire has been leading the action on Energy sharing, P2P and Energy Communities for the third consecutive year. These past months, she has coordinated the contributions of more than 15 BRIDGE projects to collectively write an extensive standalone report on energy sharing, which will be released at the end of April 2025. Karine also has the honour to co-chair the WG Regulation for the coming year.
All LocalRES partners involved in BRIDGE are now actively contributing to the writing of BRIDGE annual report, to be published in June.
We look forward to continuing this cooperation with BRIDGE and with the other BRIDGE projects in the coming months!
