In support of Energy Communities for climate neutral cities (July 13, 2022)

The webinar “In support of Energy Communities for Climate Neutral Cities” is organised by the Covenant of Mayors – EU Office, with the aim of providing participants with a better understanding of all the socio-economic benefits (in terms of job and local value creation, tackling energy poverty, etc.) that come with an energy strategy that is oriented towards citizen energy and with a better understanding of the recent EU and national opportunities with regards to renewable/citizen energy communities.  Three technical assistance opportunities for the development of energy communities will be presented:  – From the Covenant of Mayors Europe – From the Energy Communities Repository – From the Rural Energy Communities Advisory Hub.  We will also hear stories from the ground on how energy communities can help improving the quality of life and support the cities in their path towards climate neutrality.
